Tristan McIntosh

During the last season of ‘American Idol’ local musician, Tristan McIntosh, won over the hearts of America with her bigger than life voice. On her audition for Idol, McIntosh sang Mikey Gupton’s “Why Baby Why.” While her performance wowed the judges, the moment that had TV viewers grabbing the tissues was when Tristan’s mom, who was an Army major at the time, surprised Tristan at her audition and had the honor of giving her daughter the golden ticket to Hollywood.

At just 16-years-old, McIntosh was one of the final six contestants. After her last Idol performance, Keith Urban said that Tristan had “a beautiful voice,” and “a God-given gift.”

Since leaving Idol and returning home, Tristan has made her debut at the Grand Ole Opry, performed at the CMA Fest opening ceremony, and took part in the Celebrity Softball event during CMA Fest week.

Not only does she sing but she can also play an array of instruments including piano, mandolin, fiddle, guitar, and trumpet.
