The first Altar’d State opened in Knoxville back in 2009 as a modern Christian retail store and coffee shop. Today, the company has 70 boutiques in 22 states and has evolved in many ways, with their newest store opening in the CoolSpring Galleria on the lower level next to Talbot’s on Sunday, April 30th.
Since opening their first store in 2009, owners Brian Mason and Aaron Walters, have expanded their brand to include fashion apparel, jewelry, and accessories.
The CoolSprings Galleria location will be the second to open in the Middle Tennessee area with one location currently open in Murfreesboro and another location under construction in Hillsboro Village. Altar’d State is headquartered in Knoxville, TN under the direction of Mason and Walters.
Altar’d State wants to be a place of respite for the modern-day woman and offers a distinctive shopping experience with the latest fashion finds, the most sought after clothing and accessories and delightful home décor. Altar’d State hopes to inspire guests as they shop and provide them with a place of rejuvenation from their daily stressors. They also want to give back. Along with the latest fashions, shoppers can find unique merchandise that supports charitable causes.
