Alliance Volleyball Club Files a Complaint Against A-Game

A-Game

On Monday, December 21, 2015, Williamson County Select Volleyball Club d/b/a Alliance Volleyball Club (“Alliance”) and MDG Management, LLC (“MDG”) were forced to file a Complaint for Injunctive and Declaratory Relief against the owners of the A-Game Sportsplex, Sports Land Development, LLC and Courts at Cool Springs, LLC. Shortly after executing multi-year leases with both Alliance and MDG, the owners of A-Game entered into an agreement this summer to sell the property to a buyer, Al. Neyer, whose plans for the building require the eviction of the non-profit youth sports tenants. Alliance and MDG have legally enforceable leases which expire in September 2017 and December 2019, respectively.

Alliance and MDG took this legal action after the owners of A-Game Sportsplex threatened to prohibit access to the property, despite the existence of valid lease agreements granting MDG and Alliance the right to occupy the property. Alliance and MDG determined that the Complaint, which included a request for a Temporary Restraining Order, was necessary to protect their rights – as well as the rights of the 2000+ families whom they serve. Alliance and MDG are represented by Butler Snow LLP.

At this time it is unclear whether or not Al. Neyer has bought out the leases for Alliance Volleyball and MDG Management, LLC.  We have reached out to A-Game management for a comment but have been unable to reach them at this time. We will continue to update the story when we have more details.  A-Game is expected to be open through Spring of 2016. At that point, the new developer Al. Neyer will take over the facility. Al. Neyer is based out of Cincinnati. A-Game is located at 215 Gothic Court,Franklin.
