As beards are becoming more and more popular, (should we say thanks to Duck Dynasty), so are ways to groom,and now decorate your beards,
And since it is the holidays, these guys are taking beard adornment or shall we say decorating to a whole new level. There is a new hashtag on Instagram #glitterbeard that already has over 4,000 posts. In addition to the glitter, others are adding ornaments as well. Watch this video to learn how to glitter your beard.
Of course, there are those who totally disagree with the trend. Stating on Instagram “Bros Don’t Let Bros Glitter Their Beard”
We spoke to Lucky Scruff located at The Factory in Franklin who told us they don’t have any glitter or ornaments in their store right now. However, stop by and see them at Dickens of a Christmas (Dec 12-13 in downtown Franklin) because they will have some special items available during that weekend.
Hang on to your whiskers until December 13th (the second day of Dickens) to take part in the Winter Whiskery Revue sponsored by Lucky Scruff.
To enter, fill out the form on the Historic Franklin website and show up at 3:00 p.m. on December 13 at The Public Square Stage in downtown Franklin. There, a fine panel of judges will analyze your beard and crown a winner. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place. We are hoping we see some glitter too.
