student taking a test

Friday, WCS Superintendent Dr. Looney alerted students and parents that the previously scheduled Oct 2 ACT test has been re-scheduled due to an out of state security breach.

The ACT senior director of media and public relations Ed Colby told WSMV that testing was postponed due to “a compromise in the testing process,” which was explained as “an event that could impact the fairness of the exam.”

Colby adds the incident is still under investigation but he cannot comment on what specifically occurred.

Students who were signed up for the Oct. 2 test date will now take the test on Oct. 16.
