A. Marshall Family Foods Inc. raised nearly a thousand dollars for the Center of Hope in Columbia, Tennessee through its June Summer Shake program, hosted by Puckett’s Gro. in downtown Columbia last month.
On Wednesday, July 20, members of the A. Marshall Family Foods Inc. team presented a check of $735.00 to the Center of Hope staff and volunteers at the restaurant, located at 15 Public Square.
The Summer Shake campaign was run to benefit the Center of Hope, a local agency whose mission is to raise awareness and aid in the fight against domestic violence.
Throughout the month of June, Puckett’s Gro. in Columbia pledged to donate $1 for every milkshake sold to the Center of Hope. Customers who purchased a milkshake also received a coupon for a complimentary scoop of ice cream, redeemable at its neighboring restaurant and the newest A. Marshall Family Foods concept, Hattie Jane’s Creamery, which opened earlier this month in the space adjacent to Puckett’s.
Puckett’s strives to be an active part of the community, both inside and outside the restaurant’s doors. The restaurant’s proprietors place a heavy emphasis on partnerships and giving back to benefit its businesses’ respective communities and causes that are important to each.
