A. Marshall Family Foods has become a namesake in the Middle Tennessee area (and beyond). What began as one restaurant in the late 90s has now turned into a “family” of restaurants in Franklin, Leiper’s Fork, Columbia, Thompson’s Station, Nashville, Murfreesboro and Chattanooga.
Andy Marshall grew up in the grocery business. When he launched his own career in the industry at the age of 26, it led to the entrepreneur owning several Piggly Wiggly stores across the Southeast.
In the mid-1990s, Marshall’s love of food, music and community began to steer him in a different direction. His desire was to serve one small town with just one store, where he could also offer home-cooked family recipes to the community he was serving. So in 1998, he decided to sell all of his stores and purchase a little gem in the heart of Leiper’s Fork. That gem was Puckett’s Grocery.
Fast forward 20 years and you can find Puckett’s not only in Leiper’s Fork, but also in downtown Franklin, Columbia, Murfreesboro, Nashville and Chattanooga.
A. Marshall Family Foods expanded the Puckett’s brand to Puckett’s Boat House (a seafood spin-off of Puckett’s), Homestead Manor (a farm to table restaurant in Thompson’s Station), Scout’s Pub (a modern pub in Franklin) and Deacon’s New South (a modern steakhouse in Nashville).
Each year, A. Marshall Family Foods continues to expand on what they do best – creating and serving amazing food, while offering impeccable customer service in a warm and inviting atmosphere.
A Marshall Family Foods has received numerous awards. Just last month, Andy Marshall was named the Tennessee Hospitality & Tourism Association’s 2017 Restaurateur of the Year (Andy Marshall is pictured above receiving his award from Rep. Glen Casada).
