In general, crime numbers in Williamson County have stayed about the same over the past few years as development booms and population grows, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Franklin, the city with the highest population, has the highest crime numbers of anywhere else in the county, but has also seen a decline in crime numbers since 2010.
Fairview and Nolensville, the cities with the lowest populations, have seen a rise in offense numbers. Brentwood has seen more crimes in the past two years, and Spring Hill experienced a steady decline from 2010-2013, with a slight rise in offense numbers last year.
