Watch our interview with August James and get a tour of Code Ninjas.

Owned and operated by August and Jeff James of Arrington, the center will use an engaging, game-based curriculum to teach essential programming skills to children ages 7 to 14. During each session at the ‘dojo,’ the student ‘ninjas’ will work their way from white belt to black, starting with the basics and moving at their own pace through different platforms. Teens from Franklin-area coding and robotics clubs, known as ‘senseis,’ will be leading the ninjas through their game-building sessions.

Code Ninjas has no set class times, offering parents the flexibility to drop their children off at any point during dojo hours for their session of game-building.

Code Ninjas Franklin will be open from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. Enrollment for classes is now open, and those interested in learning more can schedule a tour of the center. More information can be found at codeninjas.com or by calling (615) 640-2633.
