9 Lives for $9

You are invited to fall in love with an animal at the shelter in September. The Williamson County Animal Control and Adoption Center has a special for cat and kitten lovers that you will not want to miss. Get 9 lives for $9 with the nine dollar adoption rate.

Normal adoption is $50 for a cat at the center, but due to overpopulation, the rate is down to just $9. “Kitten season is in full swing,” said Laura Chavarria. “I even have 4 kittens living in my office.” The adoption rate includes shots, vaccinations, spay or neuter and micro chipping. But don’t despair dog lovers, you get a break too.

9 Lives PosterDuring the month of September, all dog adoptions are $20 off normal rate if you donate at least 10 pounds of pet food to the shelter. Donated food is used by the Paws on Wheels program which provides free pet food for participants in the county’s Meals on Wheels Program.

Williamson County Animal Control and Adoption Center at 106 Claude Yates Drive in Franklin is open for adoptions from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Adoptable animals can also be viewed at www.adoptwcac.org.
