7 Locals Honored on Boys All-State List

CPA Communications

Seven area boys basketball players were honored by the Tennessee Sports Writers Association as All-State recipients.

Brentwood High School (Class AAA), Brentwood Academy (Division II-AA), and Christ Presbyterian Academy (Class AA) each had two student-athletes make the list while Franklin Road Academy (Division II-A) also added one.

BHS: Grant Teichmann and Jalen Lawson
BA: Darius Garland and Jeremiah Oatsvall
CPA: Braxton Blackwell and Tyger Campbell
FRA: Kenny Cooper

Brentwood, Brentwood Academy, and Christ Presbyterian each went to their respective classification’s state tournament. BA ended the year as state champions, Brentwood narrowly lost in the championship game, and CPA fell in the semifinal round.
