55 South

55 South is the route for you when you’re looking for comfort food. Next door to SOL, this rustic venue is named for the interstate that connects Memphis and New Orleans. The food inside is a result of the various southern comfort foods you can find when traveling along that interstate.

From crawfish & spinach dumplings to quail & biscuits the appetizers scream welcome to the south. Oysters are a big hit at 55 South as is the gumbo and salad selection. Mahi Mahi, pasta, shrimp & grits, jambalaya and BBQ round out the entrees. Try out the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich or double burger for lunch. If meat is not your thing the Portobello & veggie sandwich will cure the hunger.

Stop in after work or check out their brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 10AM to 4PM. For more info visit Eat55.com
