5 Ways to Spend Time With Mom This Weekend

It’s Mother’s Day weekend and there are lots of happenings this weekend that you and your Mom can enjoy together. So take time out to spend time with your mom to show her how much you appreciate her and all of her hard work over the years.

1. The Sunday Market

The Sunday Market is a free monthly event at The Factory in Franklin with vendors, food trucks, and music. Spend the afternoon shopping and browsing, you can even buy mom flowers at this month’s market.

2. Arrington Vineyards

Arrington Vineyards showcases the rolling hills of Tennessee with a vineyard in the background, you can grab a blanket, listen to free music and purchase bbq onsite to enjoy. Each Friday night is food truck night from 6 p – 9 p with live music starting at 9 p.

3. Steeplechase

Steeplechase is the declaration of spring at the annual running of the Iroquois at Steeplechase.  here are still tailgating tickets available, so grab a box lunch and head out to the races this weekend with Mom.

4. Renaissance Festival

Renaissance Festival offers a fun filled day for you and mom. Enjoy their unique marketplace and free tours of the castle first floor and grounds from 11am-3pm.

5. Brunch

Brunch is always a great idea. If making breakfast in bed for mom is not your cup of tea. Take mom out to brunch at one of the many local spots like Biscuit Love, a locally owned restaurant located in historic downtown Franklin at 132 3rd Avenue South.
