5 Things to Know about Taylor Swift’s New Video “ME!”

Taylor Swift released her new song “ME!” and its video on Friday. She’s been dropping hints on social media about the new song; she even made a surprise visit in Nashville Thursday. “ME!” sis number one on Youtube with over 94 million views.

1“ME!” features Panic at the Disco Brendon Urie

Swift co-wrote the song with Urie and Joel Little. Swift also was the co-director for the video.

2The Video Also Featured the Dixie Chicks

As Swift sings “there’s a lot of cool chicks out there”, you will see artwork of baby chicks and then it pans to a photo of the Dixie Chicks. Could this mean a collaboration with the Dixie Chicks is coming soon?

The Dixie Chicks posted a clip of the video on Instagram with the emoji for two eyes tagging Taylor Swift.

4 There’s a New Cat in the Video

Swift’s two cats Meredith and Olivia make an appearance but Urie gives Swift a silver cat to which fans speculate is a new pet. Swift confirmed on Instagram saying, “And then there were three” but she hasn’t revealed a name yet.

5 Karyn gets a makeover

During Swift’s Reputation Tour, the giant 60 foot plus snake she named Karyn made an appearance each night. In the first few seconds of the video, the snake appears and fans are saying it’s Karyn but in pale colors that burst into butterflies. Does this give us insight to the new album TS7 or is this Swift reinventing herself again?
