Just Love Coffee is ready for those looking to get caffeinated in the morning, lunchtime or after work hours. It is located in the new Town Center retail area where recently Blaze Pizza and Comfy Cow Ice Cream have opened for business.
We see a pattern here, you can have lunch, dessert and coffee all in one spot. Actually, you can start with breakfast at Just Love Coffee, which offers a complete breakfast menu. Here are five things that you must know about Just Love Coffee. We spoke with D.J. Smith who gave us the inside brew on the latest coffee shop in Brentwood.
1.You don’t have to learn Italian to order coffee at Just Love Coffee. “Our baristas are among the best in Middle Tennessee. What it does mean is that we make our coffee and food accessible to everyone. If you want coffee with your sugar, that’s fine. Want a Third Wave coffee experience? We can do that too.”
2. Just Love Coffee in Brentwood is the third location for the brand, the second one this year. You can visit their other locations in Murfreesboro or Nashville.
3. All of the coffee is roasted in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. “All of our coffee is hand-roasted at our facility in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to ensure freshness. We’re also very proud of our Nitro Coffee (cold brew infused with nitrogen) and, if you’re really adventurous, you can try a Nitro Coffee we’ve infused with hops. We have ample seating (including a gorgeous bar you can sit and watch coffee being brewed with state-of-the-art brewing equipment), charging outlets, and an eclectic mix (some of which are played on classic vinyl records). We even have a video game system that allows you to play classic 80s arcade games. ”
4. Just Love Coffee was birthed in Ethiopia. The brand was officially established in 2009. Just Love Coffee Roasters founder Rob Webb and his wife, Emily, had always dreamed of adding to their family of four by adoption. So in 2009 Rob boarded a plane that would take him to Ethiopia (arguably the birth place of coffee) and to his new daughters. Little did he know the experience would not only change his life, but the lives of so many others.
Having heard the stories of sacrifice and determination by other adoptive families and feeling the financial strains that come with an adoption journey, the proverbial light bulb went off in Rob’s mind and a new business concept took root. He would build a business using hand-roasted coffees to help others whose passion was to “just love.” Initially, the company started out as an e-commerce business that allowed adoptive families, mission-minded groups, and non-profits to fundraise through our program. Through the online fundraising program, the company has been able to give back nearly $500,000 to those in the program. In 2014, Rob and his “Bean Team” began developing the unique food program that opened the doors to franchising our coffee shop and eatery.
5. In addition to coffee, they offer a full menu. The breakfast, lunch and dinner menu that is unlike anything in Brentwood. Entrees like the wOmelette, Jive Turkey, and The Dippity Do-La-La are literally waffled to delicious perfection.
