5 Things to Do on a Rainy Day in Williamson County

School is over and the children are itching to get out and enjoy their summer break. Unfortunately, it looks like pop up rain showers are in our forecast for much of the week. Although your outdoor plans may be spoiled, there are plenty of ways to still have a lot of fun.

Here are 5 ways to spend a rainy day in Williamson County:

1. Jumpstreet
1735 Galleria Blvd, Franklin

The kiddos can burn off their energy at Jumpstreet where they can bounce around on giant trampolines. Admission is slightly cheaper during the week than the weekend. On Mondays and Wednesdays, it costs $8 for 1 hour of jumping. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, they offer a special–2 hours of jumping for $10.

2.Third Coast Clay
230 Franklin, Road (in The Factory)

Your family can get in touch with their artistic side at Third Coast Clay. Painters pick their choice of pottery from mugs and plates to figurines and ornaments and then they can pick whatever colors they like to paint it. All supplies are provided. It costs $6 per person to paint plus the cost of whatever pottery piece you choose. The pottery ranges from $8-$30.

3. Brentwood Skate Center
402 Wilson Pike Circle, Brentwood

Is it too humid to be outdoors? No worries, the kids can work out their extra energy by roller skating.  Skate times are:

11:30a-12:30p Lil Kids
12:30p-3:30p Summer Fun Skate
$6 for Lil Kids, $7 for Summer Fun Skate, $3 for skate rental

4. Monkey Joe’s
1648 Westgate Circle, Brentwood

Monkey Joe’s is a fun-filled inflatable play center with wall-to-wall inflatable slides, jumps, and obstacle courses. Monkey Joe’s is perfect for kids 12 years-old and younger. They also offer a Mini Monkey Zone, a separate play area for toddlers 3 years-old and younger. No reservations are necessary and admission allows your children to play as long as they want.

Admission is $9 during the week and $12 on Saturday and Sunday, admission for adults is FREE!

5. Bowl at Franklin Family Entertainment Center
1200 Lakeview Drive, Franklin
