5 Things to Know About the Harpeth Square Project in Downtown Franklin

Construction on the $105 million Harpeth Square Project in downtown Franklin is well underway and we took a hard hat tour of the project Monday morning. Here are five things you may not know about Harpeth Square Project.

1.The project gets its name from the iconic Harpeth River.

2. The building will span an entire city block from Main Street to Bridge Street and First to Second avenues, including 12,000 square feet of retail space, 6,500 square feet of Class A office space and a 591-space, five-story parking garage. Total square footage for the project is 557,351.

3. Included in the Harpeth Square will be Curio Hilton Hotel with 119 rooms. Curio’s upscale portfolio consists of more than 60 one-of-a-kind hotels and resorts. Curio Collection properties also receive the benefits of Hilton’s award-winning guest loyalty program, Hilton Honors.

4. There will be 150 units available for rent separate from the hotel. A breakdown of the units includes 61 one-bedroom, 75 two-bedroom, and 14 three-bedroom. All units will have private covered parking, access to hidden courtyards, ten-foot ceilings with the option of room service from Curio Hilton Hotel.

5. The projected completion of the development is slated for July 2019 on the hotel side and the apartments and retail components will start opening in the Fall of 2019. The project will also add 149 public parking spaces.

Those interested in leasing options for retail or apartments should visit the Harpeth Square website for more information. Keep checking back here for more details as they are released on new retailers and restaurants that will occupy the project.
