5 Things to Know about Franktown’s Festival of Lights

Festival of Lights

For the second year, Franktown’s Festival of Lights brings a drive-thru light display to the Williamson County Ag Center.

Each evening, you can enjoy the light display from your car, from 6 p – 10 p now through December 28. Tickets are $25 per car.

Here are 5 things you need to know about the event.

  • Williamson County’s only drive-thru light spectacular with over 200 displays, which is synchronized to Christmas classics on the radio, all powered by 14 generators.
  • Last year, there were over 13,000 cars in attendance to view the over one mile course of the holiday display. It takes more than 350 volunteers to help with setup, taking tickets, parking and more to maintain the event.
  • New this year- Santa’s Village! This is where you can take a photo with Santa, meet the Grinch, ride on a pony, camel, or Ferris wheel. Take a photo with a monkey, decorate cookies, and play games. Grab a bite to eat or a cup of hot chocolate.
  • A discount of $5 is given to Veterans, First Responders with the code HEROES.  Williamson County and Franklin Special School District students, faculty, and staff receive a discount with the code PENCIL.
  • It all goes for a good cause. Franktown Open Hearts serves students in Franklin. Last year, they served 15,000 meals. They provide life skills to students by teaching them how to balance a checkbook, teaching them vocational skills of small engine repair, sewing, pottery, printing, and HVAC.
