This is how long it has been since the Titans played a postseason game: three presidents have been in office since then.
It was 2008, and for some reason everyone was really into vampires. Jeans were not yet skinny and beards were not yet being ironically grown. There was a big recession in the economy and everyone was unsure of what might go wrong next.
But, dang it, the Titans were in the playoffs, and the combination of coach Jeff Fisher, rookie running back Chris Johnson and veteran quarterback Kerry Collins had led to a division title. But, coming up against the underdog Baltimore Ravens, Tennessee’s high hopes tanked quicker than AIG, Bear Stearns and the Lehman Brothers.
All that is over now, and Saturday the Titans will be in Kansas City. Where will you be?
