Coffee & Coconuts will open a Berry Farms Town Center location, at 4000 Hughes Crossing between the UMI Japanese restaurant and The Barre. It will offer a variety of food options as well as occasional live music.

“It is in the middle of construction, and there have been a few normal holdups,” Cole Cooper, who is handling marketing for the shop, said. “The tentative opening date right now is mid-April, give or take.”

The coffee shop owner Missi Gallimore signed a lease on the last space that was currently built and vacant on Hughes Crossing, according to Kristin Cales, spokesperson for Boyle Investment Company, which developed Berry Farms. The remaining spaces for retail are now by Publix, where Benchmark will be.

“Coffee & Coconuts is a locally owned and operated coffee shop that will be offering a number of other food options and occasional music performances,” Cales said.
