5. Henry Horton State Park
Henry Horton State Park is located in Chapel Hill along the Duck River. Its 75 camp sites, (19 for tents, the rest for RVs or Campers) are located along that river, all with tables and fire rings. For activities, campers have easy access to hiking, swimming, and paddling on the Duck River, as well as an 18-hole golf course, a trap and skeet range and a disc golf course.
For amenities, there are three bathhouses, lavatories and a laundromat.
