5. VIIV with Nathan Fouts at Mockingbird Theater

Nathan Fouts

Friday, September 6, 8 p
Mockingbird Theater, 230 Franklin Road, Franklin

VIIV with Nathan Fouts, Seddy Mac, Ryan Tucker, and Hew G at the Mockingbird Theatre.

Nathan Fouts: A Nashville native, Nathan Fouts broke the mold of his classical training as well as the city’s musical roots, and set out to make a mark in the hip hop world. He began writing songs at age 14 and free-styling in the stairwells of his high school. After a short stint at UMiami’s Frost School of Music, he performed his hip hop creations at Miami EDM clubs and acoustic songs at local bars before returning to his hometown to record. His versatile vocal abilities can earn him a spot in a Broadway musical, a gospel choir or a Frank Sinatra tribute, but his heart lies in the poetic story-telling of the hip hop/rap genre. His ability to speak to his generation through his considerate, heart-felt words and his rhythmical beats makes him a contender in the music world. In 2018 Nathan created Cake Records with his team and is looking forward to releasing new projects with Cake.

Ryan Tucker: Proof that it’s possible to be a goon and love people at the same time. Product of old school Hip-Hop/RnB. Born in Northern VA, living in Nashville, TN.

Hew G: Hew G. is an independent hip hop artist, producer, and dancer out of Nashville, TN.
