Verizon- 1,300 jobs
Since 2006, as part of its relocation to a $54 million, 191,142-square-foot state headquarters off Mallory Station Road in Cool Springs, Verizon Wireless agreed to hire 1,300 employees over a period of time. In the first phase, they hired 300 employees, and have been hiring in increments of 300 and 100.
The jobs range from retail sales representatives, call center representatives in Franklin and Murfreesboro and sales support.
