If you’re looking to expand your antique jewelry collection, 2014 could be your lucky year. Walton’s Antique Jewelry is giving away a piece of antique jewelry each month in 2014 in honor of their 40th anniversary year.
To have a shot at winning, simply go to their Facebook page, ‘like’ the page, then ‘like’ and share the photo of that month’s giveaway jewelry piece.
“It’s just a way for us to say thank you,” Manager and Social Media Coordinator Julie Walton said.
People are responding to the giveaways with enthusiasm. This month’s jewelry photo has already been shared 773 times so far.
“It’s exciting to see people rally around it,” Walton said.
The antique jewelry shop originated with Julie’s grandmother, Melba Walton, and specializes in pre-1940’s antique and estate pieces. The family owned and operated shop is a staple in downtown Franklin and is one of the oldest businesses on Main Street.
The 40th anniversary year celebration is extending beyond the monthly giveaways. A celebratory party is currently in the works which will take place at the store and feature music and catering.
