4 Men Charged in Franklin Prostitution Sting

During an undercover operation Friday in Franklin, Franklin Police Department Vice & Narcotics Detectives and Flex Team Officers charged four men with Patronizing Prostitution. Detectives worked with a police informant and used the Internet to advertise sex for cash at a Franklin hotel. Each of the suspects charged in this case went to the informant’s hotel room where they paid her when she agreed to perform sex acts in exchange for their money. That is when officers moved in.

The continuing efforts by Franklin Police are meant not only to deter prostitution, but other crimes, like robbery and assault, that often accompany it. “We will continue these types of operations, arresting prostitutes, those working with them, and those patronizing their services,” said Chief Deborah Faulkner. “Our residents do not want this going on in our city, and neither do we.”
