I know it’s only half way through September but have you seen all of the pumpkins sitting at Publix? And the weather this week has certainly put all of us in the fall mood. Â So, while I was thinking of fall, I decided to start thinking of ways to decorate pumpkins that aren’t just a typical cut and design. Take a look at a few of these pictures found at Southern Living.
Decorate Your Mantel-Â Use your votives in a new way by wrapping twine around them. Â Then stack your small pumpkins on top of the votives. Instead of using the typical orange pumpkin, give the white pumpkin a try.
Tack Them-Â Tack them with upholstery tacks. Â You can even get the kids involved with this project. Map out your design before you get started or try an initial or saying.
Paint Your Pumpkin-Another easy DIY project where you can enlist the help of your kids. Â The circles made on the pumpkin are easy to do with round stick on labels. Â Simply apply the label, trace the circle and then paint the pumpkin. Or you can do the reverse by applying the round label and paint the entire pumpkin, once the paint is dry remove the circles to reveal the pumpkin.
