3 Upcoming April Events at Franklin Theatre

The Franklin Theatre has a great April schedule for you, starting with a showing of the movie “HOP” and an opportunity to win a bike. Don’t delay in getting tickets to this event as it is sold out every year.

April 4th, Saturday 10 am- EGGS-TRAVAGANZA
All children entering the theatre will receive a plastic Easter egg which will have a number in it. They will have a drawing for a $260 bike donated by Mac’s Harpeth Bike along with drawings for ice skating parties (2) as well as giving out Jamba Juice coupons/Free Smoothie. They will have real bunnies for petting as well as a costumed bunny for picture taking. The movie “HOP” will be screened as well. April 15th, Wednesday 6:30 pm-Special screening of “Lincoln”
In honor of the 150th anniversary of Lincoln’s death, the Theatre will show “Lincoln
and have a Question & Answer session with Eric A. Jacobson, Chief Executive Officer of the Battle of Franklin Trust. A portion of ticket proceeds will benefit battlefield preservation. This event is sponsored by Yeoman’s Bookshop. Yeoman’s will have a few special historical pieces on display in the front lobby before the show. April 16th, Thursday 7 pm- Franklin Remembered with Jimmy Gentry & Rick Warwick
Enjoy an evening of nostalgic storytelling set against a backdrop of rarely seen historic photographs that tell the many stories of Franklin and its rich heritage. From the things that aren’t there anymore to those lovingly preserved, listen as Jimmy and Rick reminisce about the unique people and storied places that make Franklin a truly one-of-kind town. It promises to be an evening of laughter, memories and stories during Franklin Remembered. Tickets for the event are just $5.  Purchase tickets at Franklin Theatre website.
