Spend a summer evening outside under the stars watching a movie with the family. We’ve put together a list of local places where you can catch a movie for free all outside.

1Leipers Fork Lawnchair Theater

4144 Old Hillsboro Road, Franklin

The Leipers Fork Lawnchair Theater has been showing free family-oriented movies in their outdoor venue since summer of 2003 on Friday nights at dusk. They provide a great concession with freshly grilled burgers and hotdogs, tasty nachos, assorted sodas and hot popcorn cooked in butter. You can also find fresh veggies for those burgers from produce that is grown and sold locally at the farmer’s stand located by the Harpeth River in Franklin.

Bring a chair or pack a blanket and come to Pinkerton Park for an evening movie! This free summer movie series will begin at 8pm or at sunset. Concessions items will be available for purchase.

3Riverside Park

102 Riverside Drive, Columbia, TN

City of Columbia is bringing back Movies in the Park series. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the free movies starting at 8:30pm at Riverwalk Park.
