Who couldn’t use a couple of hours of forgetting about life and having a good laugh? Some notable comedians are making their way to Nashville this fall. From Zanies to Bridgestone, here are three upcoming comedy acts.

1Amy Schumer

One of the most popular female comedians, Schumer will be making a stop on her tour in Nashville. Schumer recently starred in the hit comedy, “I Feel Pretty,” and in the movie “Snatched,” the mother-daughter comedy with Goldie Hawn; a drama about PTSD in soldiers “Thank You For Your Service;” and Universal Pictures hit “Trainwreck” in 2015 which was nominated for two Golden Globes including Best Actress, Comedy or Musical, as well as Best Picture, Comedy or Musical.

Schumer’s one-hour HBO comedy special, “Amy Schumer: Live at the Apollo” directed by Chris Rock, premiered on October 17, 2015, and was HBO’s most watched Saturday night comedy special debut. In 2016, Schumer became the first female comedian to ever sell out Madison Square Garden in New York City. Schumer has won the Pollstar Award for “Comedy Tour Of The Year” in both 2015 and 2016.

Garfunkel and Oates are a musical comedy duo comprised of actresses Riki Lindhome (Another Period, Brooklyn Nine Nine, The Muppets) and Kate Micucci (Don’t Think Twice, The Big Bang Theory, Raising Hope). They’ve appeared on The Tonight Show, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and Conan and have a special on Netflix, Trying to be Special, as well as a Comedy Central Half Hour Special. Their albums Secretions, Slippery When Moist, All Over Your Face, and Music Songs are all available on iTunes.

3Kevin Hart

Hart announced the extension of his “The Kevin Hart Irresponsible Tour” to include a stop in Nashville this October. In addition to touring, Hart has recently released his memoir, I Can’t Make This Up: Life Lessons; voicing George Beard in the animated film Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie; and appearing opposite Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Jack Black of Jumanji and is also slated to appear in the next installment of Jumanji reports The Hollywood Reporter.
