3 Last Minute Summer Camps

For Williamson County school children, school is out on Thursday making Friday the first official day of summer!  While the idea of summer sounds good to them right now.  In about a week, the words “I’m bored” will be heard in many homes.  Here are 3 camps that you can still register for–bordome no more!

1. Williamson County Parks and Recreation-250 camps for kids from 3 to 17! Highlights include art, science, technology, theatre, dance, sports and day camps, plus new options like Boredom Buster trips for ages 6 to 13 and JEAPS (Junior Excursion Adventure Programs) for adventurous 11 to 15 year olds. 2. Barefoot Republic Day Camp  Offers  six different sessions for the 2015 summer! As always, the days will be full from 9:00 am-4:00 pm with Bible study and worship, specialty classes in athletics, performing arts and visual arts (click here for a full list of activities) and free time with inflatables and pony rides. Before and after care are also available for an extra fee.

3. YMCA Day Camp– No two weeks at Day Camp are the same. Throughout the summer, YMCA features different themes filled with new activities, new experiences and new memories. Whether it’s playing a new sport, learning about science and nature or exploring their creativity, your child will build confidence and bonds to last a lifetime.
