While you are planning the perfect spot to watch the eclipse, here are some local eclipse food options for you to try on this historical day.
Five Daughters Bakery
Nashville’s locally owned and operated Five Daughter’s Bakery is launching The Galaxy Donut to celebrate the once in a lifetime eclipse, happening Monday August 21st, and you don’t need NASA approved glasses to enjoy this stellar experience! The limited edition delicacy will be available in all three Nashville storefronts located conveniently in The Factory in Franklin, the 12 South District and East Nashville.
Momma Nik’s Cheesecake
In the heart of Brentwood at 7024 Church Street, this small batch cheesecake bakery has a new take on a typical cheesecake. They created these mini-cheesecakes from Momma Nik’s. Using a mini blackout cheesecake, they created an eclipse inspired treat but hurry they are only available for a short time.
With multiple locations in Williamson County, it won’t be hard to find these creations. For the first time, the Krispy Kreme Glazed® Doughnuts will be eclipsed by a mouth-watering chocolate glaze to coincide with the solar eclipse Monday, Aug. 21 at participating U.S. shops.
