2nd Annual PuppyFest Fundraising Event This Weekend

Carol Birdsong, the only voice a teenager wants to hear at 5:00 a.m., is this year’s emcee for PuppyFest this Sunday. See her conversation with us above.

The 2nd annual Puppy Love Dog Fest will be held February 8, 2015 from 12-6pm at Independence High School located at 1776 Declaration Way in Thompson’s Station.

The Puppy Love Dog Fest is a fundraising event for Independence High School presented by Mars Petcare US. Other sponsors supporting the Puppy Fest include PB&J Day School, and Tidy Paws.

All donations and proceeds raised from the fest will go to pay for a new outdoor classroom. Well over $2000 in cash and prizes will be given away throughout the day.

Carol Birdsong Communications Director for Williamson County Schools will be the featured emcee for the event. Dr. Looney will be on hand as a celebrity judge, as will author Robert Hicks, Thompsons Station Mayor Corey Napier and school board member Rick Wemberly.

“Carol Birdsong is the most well-known voice to our Williamson County students. She’s also a dog lover- and tons of fun to be around. We’re delighted she can join us.”
