The Goodwill Career Solutions center at 937 Herman St. in Nashville will host a job fair from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, for 29 employers seeking to fill more than 500 positions in Davidson and surrounding counties.
Employers include Writgen America, Hertz, People Ready, YMCA, Metro Nashville Public Schools, Goodwill, Automation, Assemblers Inc., FSN Bank, Kroger, Hire Dynamic, Senior Solutions, All About Care, Fifth Third Bank, FedEx, NAOS Staffing, Hiller Plumbing and Heating, National Council on Aging, CSC Contemporary Service, O’Reilly’s Auto Distribution, Gray Line Tennessee, School Bus Consultants, ABM, Shoney’s, Landscape Services, Music City Maid, Industrial Staffing, Hallelujah Hauling and Senior Helpers. Openings include caregiver, repair tech, housekeeping, forklift, light industrial, security, clerical, bus driver, site director, reach truck operator, tour guide, construction superintendent, quality assurance, teller and other positions. Rates of pay reach $30 per hour.
Representatives from these companies will be on-site and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security card or birth certificate.
