Play Ball! The 2015 Summit High School Winter Baseball Camp is scheduled for January 25, 2015 from 1:30pm to 4:30pm at the Summit High School baseball fields. The total cost of the camp is $30.

This is the 4th year that Summit High School has held the camp and they had over 100 campers at each of the previous camps. Dust off that bat and glove and get a head start on your competition for the upcoming baseball season.

During this camp you will be instructed by Summit High School Coaching Staff. The staff consists of 3 former D-1 players, as well as college coaching experience and professional playing experience. The 2015 Summit Baseball Team will also be at the camp to assist. Former Spartan standout and current New York Met, Dale Burdick, will be a guest instructor!

“ It’s a great time to get involved in the community.  Anything I can do to help the kids in the sport I love is an opportunity I will always take advantage of,” said Dale Burdick former Summit Spartan, currently with the New York Mets organization.

The coaches try to cover every aspect of the game with a variety of drills for the appropriate age group. They teach throwing, infield play, outfield play, base running, and hitting. The camps are designed to give the kids drills and skills that they can work on throughout the year.
