2015 Spring Hill State of the City Address

The City of Spring Hill cordially invites all media and residents to the annual State of the City, which will be delivered at the Spring Hill Chamber of Commerce’s Jan. 22 luncheon at the Northfield Workforce Development & Conference Center, 5000 Northfield Lane, in Spring Hill. The luncheon is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Mayor Rick Graham and City Administrator Victor Lay will deliver a high-energy, visual message packed full of notable announcements relating to planned transportation improvements, city facility expansion, and economic development efforts in Spring Hill in 2015.

The year 2014 was huge for Spring Hill, which saw multiple new streets opened, improvements to water quality, the construction of two major auto part suppliers, an influx of new restaurants and retail, construction of what will be our largest park, the announcement of a new hotel, and the creation of one of the nation’s first library Wi-Fi hotspot lending programs. Now with more than 32,000 residents, Spring Hill is on track to continue its high growth pattern in 2015, and there’s still much to be done.

“We will give you a snapshot of the many accomplishments of 2014, and I think you might be surprised at just how many successes we had in the past year,” Mayor Rick Graham said. “And we will give you insight into what to expect in Spring Hill in 2015. That will include some announcements that will be made public for the first time during the State of the City.”
