A new season of Tennessee Titans football is just around the corner. The first piece of business to take care of is who to select at the 2014 NFL Draft at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
The Titans enter this year’s draft with the 11th overall pick in the first round, followed by six total picks when the draft selection process gets underway on May 8th at 7 p.m. CT.
Aside from the 1st round pick, the Titans also hold the 10th pick in the second round (42nd overall). The team’s other 2014 selections include overall picks 112 (fourth round), 151 (fifth round), 186 (sixth round) and 228 (seventh round).
The question now becomes, whom will the Titans pick?
With Jake Locker set to make a full recovery and regain his starting position at quarterback, experts believe Tennessee will use their 11th pick to select cornerbacks, linebackers and even suggest drafting another quarterback to back up Locker. With Chris Johnson now with the New York Jets, are the Titans confident enough that they will find a decent replacement?
A vast majority of football experts, ranging from Peter King of Sports Illustrated, Pete Prisco and Rob Rang of CBS Sports predict the Titans will pick LB Anthony Barr out of UCLA. Other names thrown around include Justin Gilbert (CB from Oklahoma State), Kyle Fuller (CB from Virginia Tech) and even quarterback Teddy Bridgewater from Louisville. King on his blog Monday Morning Quarterback writes, “Hadn’t heard quarterback and the Titans in round one until Sunday. Now I hear: corner one, quarterback two.”

Rounds 2-3: May 9, 6 p.m. CT
Rounds 4-7: May 10, 11 a.m. CT
