2 Chances to See Franklin High Band Perform

Franklin Band has two upcoming concerts:

1) Franklin High School Band Spring Concert May 3rd

Sunday May 3rd, the Franklin High School concert bands invite the community to their Spring Concert at 2PM in the FHS Auditorium.

Professor W. Dale Warren, Director of Bands at the University of Arkansas, will be in attendance to officially present the prestigious Sudler Shield, awarded to Franklin in December. The Sudler Shield is an international award for outstanding performance in high school marching band. Franklin is the first Williamson County Band to receive this award, and one of only five Tennessee Bands to receive this honor.

A reception will follow the concert.

 2) Franklin High Rebel Jazz Band Community Picnic May 7th at Carnton Plantation

 Thursday, May 7th at 7PM, the Franklin High Rebel Jazz Band invites the community to Carnton Plantation for a Community Picnic. The concert is free to the public, and all are invited to bring food to share, lawn chairs and enjoy some incredible music by some of Franklin High’s best musicians. Carnton Plantation is at 1345 Eastern Flank Circle.
