1W1C Sponsoring City Commission Candidates Forum

Part One of our “Progress & Future in WC” Series

The Williamson County Chamber (1W1C) is sponsoring a Brentwood City Commission Candidates Forum on Thursday, April 11th from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., at the Brentwood United Methodist Church on Franklin Road. This venue will host 6 candidates running for the city commission in the election set for Friday, May 7th. Early voting is available from April 17th through May 2nd.

Mayor Paul Webb, Regina Smithson and Rhea Little, III are all seeking reelection while Jason Richardson, Jay Galbreath and Mark Gorman are attempting to be elected for the first time. This free event is open to Chamber members and the public. Continental breakfast and coffee will be served courtesy of G Catering & Events.

Your City Commission is the legislative and policy-making body of the City of Brentwood. It consists of seven members elected at-large for four-year, staggered terms. The Mayor and Vice Mayor are appointed by the City Commission for two-year terms. Unless otherwise rescheduled, the City Commission meets on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 7 p.m. at the Municipal Center, 5211 Maryland Way in Brentwood.
