16 WCS Schools Announced as Reward Schools

Sixteen Williamson County schools are among the state’s highest performing in terms of academic achievement and progress.

The Tennessee Department of Education released its list of 2017-18 Reward Schools September 21. Reward Schools are the top five percent of schools in the state for annual growth and the top five percent for academic achievement.

“It’s great to see so many of our schools recognized for their performance and progress,” said WCS Superintendent Dr. Mike Looney. “This is reflective of the overall hard work happening in our classrooms, and I am proud of the effort of our students, teachers and support team members.”
