13 Tennessee Lottery Players Win from “Play it Again” Program

Tn Lottery

Just in time for the holidays, 13 lucky Tennessee Lottery players have won prizes ranging from $20,000 to $2 million by entering non-winning instant tickets into the “Play It Again!” program.

“I might move to Hawaii!” joked Nancy Carter of Nashville, who won the top prize of $2 million. “I’ve been wanting to meet you for a long time,” she told Rebecca Hargrove, President and CEO of the Lottery. Rebecca was on hand to greet the winners, who she telephones to share the news of their good fortune.

Nancy plans to use some of the prize for home improvement and bills.

Other winners include Martha Spears of Friendship, who learned she won $300,000—then told her husband to “come home and sit down” so she could share the news. “I told him, and we were both in shock.”

Angela Hale of Jackson, who won $150,000, joined Doncella Rodgers, of Nashville, who won $200,000, to meet Rebecca and collect their winnings. Doncella, who donned a festive holiday sweater, raised her arms and smiled with joy when accepting the “big” ceremonial check from Rebecca.
