12th Annual Country Ham Festival this Weekend

The John Maher Builders Country Ham Festival in Spring Hill is back and better than ever this Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 10:00 am – 7:00 pm. The Spring Hill Country Ham Festival will be held on the grounds of the Tennessee Children’s Home located at 804 Branham Hughes Blvd., Spring Hill, TN 37174.

The ham festival promises loads of fun with live music, a kids zone with huge inflatables, food vendors, and arts and crafts. The ham festival is a free event with free parking to boot. Some of the live music scheduled is The Tim Charron Band, The Pfeiffer Twins, Gracie & Joey, and Rick Armentrout and Third Coast. How is your hog calling?  Well, bring it with ya to the fest and you can win cash prizes!

Monster Trucks and Balloon Rides

predator-2This popular event is back for the third straight year, and for the first time this year Come on out and find out why folks love the big monster truck.

Hot air balloon rides are available. More info on how to schedule a balloon ride right here! We will be launching in the morning and evening from the Country Ham Festival in Spring Hill, TN. Join us on an adventure launching from the Festival. We will meet at the Ham Festival and you will need to come up to our booth to check in for your flight.

The Kids Zone

kz-7We’ll have huge inflatables for the kids to jump on, slide down and compete on. There’ll be dozens of festival booths like ring toss, face painting and bean bag toss all for FREE, sponsored by our local businesses and organizations.

Combine the Kid’s Zone amusements with all the other incredible events like the Monster Truck Rides, food, music, crafts and other fun and we’ll have the best two days of the fall together.

 

Food Vendors

fv-6Of course you have to start with some Country Ham but the sky is the limit after that. There will be so many amazing things to eat at this year’s Country Ham festival you’ll want to skip breakfast at home and arrive ready to eat your fill at the festival.

We’ll have you covered for breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day, and with so much going on you’ll need all day to take it all in. Come join us on Saturday, Oct. 3 on the beautiful grounds of the Tennessee Children’s Home for a day of incredible fun and fantastic food.

 

 

Arts and Crafts

ac-2Country Ham festival will be jam packed with fantastic Arts and Crafts vendors with some of the most talented artists and crafts people you ever encountered sharing their offerings. Be sure to come check it out and maybe find a hobby or craft you would enjoy. Our Artists and Crafts folks will love to meet you and share some of their techniques.

  2. Adult beverages are not allowed on festival grounds.

How to get to the Country Ham Festival:

The ONLY entrance to the HamFest will be from Kedron Road. Although the actual address of the Tennessee Children’s Home is Branham Hughes Blvd., all the usual main entrances will be closed on the days of the event. Please refer to the map when planning your route to the festival.
