Join Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Linus, and the whole Peanuts gang as they produce their own Christmas play and ultimately learn the true meaning of the season. Adapted from Charles M. Schulz’s timeless story, A Charlie Brown Christmas features the unforgettable music of Vince Guaraldi, as well as beloved holiday carols performed by the Peanuts characters. 2Tim Rushlow & His Big Band Christmas

Join Franklin resident -The New King of Swing, Tim Rushlow and his all-star Big Band, along with his daughter and featured guest vocalist, Bailey Rushlow, as they delight and entertain the crowd in the cozy, warm and intimate Prohibition-era setting of Rudy’s Jazz Room with timeless Christmas classics that will touch the heart, along with “Rat Pack” hits from Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin and Dean Martin, as well as fan favorites from Judy Garland, Buddy Holly and many others. Rushlow and his Big Band carry on the musical romance and swagger of an earlier era and will transport patrons back to a time when Christmas was “Classic.” Retro swing and ultra-cool, intoxicating musical class, coupled with Rudy’s tasty libations and a delicious dinner of tasty New Orleans’ finest cuisine will make for magical and unforgettable nights to remember.

4Sierra Hull Christmas

Sierra Hull, the singer, mandolinist and former child prodigy who signed with Rounder at age 13 and distinguished herself by becoming the first bluegrass musician to receive a Presidential Scholarship, will make a stop at the Franklin Theatre with her Sierra Hull Christmas tour. At this concert, she has partnered with Toys for Tots and is asking the audience to bring an unwrapped toy to the concert or canned food item to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank for a signed poster by Hull.

Hull will be with her band (Justin Moses, Kai Welch, Eddie Barbash, Ethan Jodziewicz, and Jamie Dick), spreading Christmas joy.

5Deborah Allen’s Rockin’ Little Christmas

The Franklin Theatre will be full of Christmas spirit as multi-award winning songwriter and recording artist Deborah Allen celebrates the Holidays with her ‘Rockin’ Little Christmas’ concert Saturday, December 15th! She’ll be singing many of your holiday favorites along with some of her original Christmas songs such as “Merry Christmas,” “Walk All The Way To Memphis,” “Moody Bluesy Christmas,” “Birthday Party For Jesus” and her CMT Holiday classic, “Rockin’ Little Christmas!”

6Lee Greenwood Christmas

Lee Greenwood is bringing Christmas to the Franklin Theatre with a show made up of entirely Christmas music. The accomplished artist has received many accoldaes over his career. With seven #1 songs & 25 charted singles his hits include: “It Turns Me Inside Out”, “Ring On Her Finger Time on Her Hands”, ”She’s Lyin”, “I don’t Mind the Thorns if You’re the Rose”, “Dixie Road”, “Somebody’s Gonna Love You”, “Going Going Gone”, “You Got A Good Love Comin”, “Fools Gold”, and “Mornin Ride”. Several cross over hits include, “Touch & Go Crazy”, “IOU” and the duet with Barbara Mandrell, “To Me”. An additional duet with Suzie Boggus, “Hopelessly Yours”, was nominated for a Grammy. 7Towne Center Theatre “Christmas on the Towne”

“Christmas on the Towne” is a wonderful Christmas cabaret of holiday songs – some old, some new and some with a twist that are sure to get you in the festive spirit. There will be pre-show entertainment and caroling before each show with complimentary wine and photo opportunities. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the 8:00 evening performances and 2:30 Sunday performances. Don’t miss this event as it will be the last show at the Towne Center.

8Pull-Tight Players “A Christmas Carol, A Live Radio Play”

For many of us, Christmas isn’t Christmas without the opportunity to see some form of this beloved story, but how to keep it fresh?  For the first time, Pull-Tight Players presents this live 1940s radio broadcast version of the Dickens classic, in which a small group of actors brings the story to life complete with vintage commercials, live sound effects, and musical underscoring to lead Scrooge through his journey of discovering the true meaning of Christmas and of life.

9Peter Pan and Tinker Bell: A Pirate’s Christmas

This singing, swashbuckling adventure is performed in the high-flying style of a British holiday panto. Take off on a wild quest with Tinker Bell, Wendy, and Peter Pan at TPAC as they try to put a stop to the plot of some dastardly pirates who plan to kidnap Peter as a present to Captain Hook. Filled with big laughs, magic, dancers, and contemporary songs by everyone from Taylor Swift to the Bee Gees, this family show has a little bit of something for everyone. The talented cast is set to include John O’Hurley (Seinfeld) as Captain Hook. Known for their creativity and involvement in television hits American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance, Lythgoe Family Panto produces fun musical theater the whole family can enjoy.

12Cirque Dreams Holidaze Show
