About Tupelo Honey
Tupelo Honey’s take on “new south flavors” begins with a reverence for those time-honored southern dishes, served up by home cooks for years. They respect the freshness and flavors of the food itself, while jazzing it up a little by adding unexpected flavors to surprise their guest’s palates. The Tupelo Honey interpretation of traditional Southern fare is creative and inventive.

Tupelo Honey also has a unique cocktail list, including three different Bloody Marys, including the Queen Mary, which goes great with any brunch dish.

While enjoying not only a great meal, the venue also features works of art by local Southern artists. When you first walk in, the first thing you will see is a huge Tennessee state flag created by lead artist Simone Wilson, which was constructed from architectural relics dating back 100 years as well as salvaged wood from homes and barns across the south. As the original Tupelo Honey was opened in Asheville, North Carolina, they like to keep a touch of their roots with an eclectic mountain feel. Each artist with pieces on the wall have made blended works that have connections with both the Asheville and Franklin history.
