About The Country Cafe
The Country Cafe is always filled with locals, rather than the tourist crowd. Known for it’s hole-in-the-wall atmosphere and fantastic service, you cannot go wrong with making the drive out to this “best kept secret” in Fairview.
Another positive side of this homestyle cafe is their low prices, which the regulars believe is the reason why the Country Cafe has continued its business. Very few items on the menu are $10 or more, but make sure to bring cash when visiting, because the Country Cafe does not accept credit cards.
The Country Cafe also caters banquets, family reunions, birthday parties (order a Birthday Cake) and they even deliver.
How can you not include Merridee’s Breadbasket on this list? Sourdough French toast, hash brown casserole and thick cut bacon!
Some of the selections puzzle me. I’m surprised by Merridees exclusion too. I’m also surprised by the chain restaurants included on the list. Mere Bulles brunch certainly should have been included along with Country Boy in Leipers Fork.
