You Gotta See This: Chris Stapleton & Justin Timberlake Perform at CMA Awards

In case you missed it. Chris Stapleton with his buddy, Justin Timberlake sang two George Jones songs– ‘Tennessee Whiskey’ and ‘Drink You Away–‘  at the CMA Awards Wednesday night. That performance has been trending. We liked it so much, we had to show it to you again, what an incredible performance.

Here are some things you may not know about Chris Stapleton.

  1. Born and raised in Kentucky, he first moved to Nashville back in 2001 as a songwriter who has six number one hits.
  2. Stapleton’s songs have been recorded by an array of successful artist: Adele, Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, and Dierks Bentley.
  3. Stapleton was with lead singer for the Steel Drivers from 2008-2010. In 2010, he founded a Southern Rock band, The Jompson Brothers who at one time opened for the Zac Brown Band. He signed as a solo artist in 2013 with Mercury Records.
  4. Back in May, Stapleton released his first album as a solo artist,Traveller which some are calling a classic. If you haven’t heard it, download the album here.
