The Cheesecake Factory Open on November 11th

The Cheesecake Factory  at The Cool Springs Galleria construction is complete and set to open to the public on November 11th, 2014 at 11 am.

Last week, we got a first look inside The Cheesecake Factory at Cool Springs Galleria.  A  second location for The Cheesecake Factory after opening its first in Tennessee in  the Green Hills Mall location back in 2005.  Nine years later, it will now open at the  Cool Springs Galleria.  Alethea Rowe, Senior Director Public Relations for The Cheesecake Factory said”  with the new expansion happening at the Cool Springs Galleria, we felt it was the right time to open a second location and our first location has been so well received.”  Rowe goes on to say that ” We wanted to offer  a late night dining option in this area where one really doesn’t exist.  We will be open on weeknights until 11pm and weekends until 12:30 pm.”   In asking Rowe if closing at those hours means the kitchen will close earlier, Rowe replied ” if you walk in the door at 12:15 and order an item in the kitchen, we will not close the kitchen until your food has been delivered to your table.”    Sounds like The Cheesecake Factory will now be your destination for that after movie or late night shopping trips this holiday season.

With over 200  items on the  menu, it is impossible to sample all of them but we did  try a few items that evening.   We started off with a few  appetizers, Parmesan-Garlic Cheese bread, artisan bread with melted cheese and served with two dipping sauces, Stuffed Mushrooms,Greek Salad and Chicken Samosas.    Next for our entrees,  we ordered Americana Burger  with fries and Seared Tuna Tataki Salad.   If you have eaten at The Cheesecake Factory you know the portions are large and most of our food was taken home due to the generous portions.   Our only complaint was that the salad was deconstructed, meaning we had to “toss” the salad on the plate but the flavors were very good.

The overall decor is very similar to that of your typical Cheesecake Factory, however, they have moved the murals from the ceiling to the back wall of the open air kitchen.  Lighting in the Cool Springs location is more contemporary than the Green Hills location.   In the end, we had a very pleasant experience at The  Cheesecake Factory.  If they could just turn down the music a notch it would be perfection.  Hate having to say “what” at dinner all night.

And yes, we ordered dessert.  We were rebels and ordered a  Godiva brownie with  ice cream.  More than enough for two people and we took home a Reese Peanut Butter  Chocolate Cake Cheesecake slice for later.   During Thanksgiving holidays, they will offer a Pumpkin cheesecake and in December they will offer a Peppermint Bark cheesecake.  With this being the  first sit down restaurant at The Cool Springs Galleria, we predict it will be busy this holiday season and beyond!

The Cheesecake Factory gift card make a great stocking stuffer.
