1. BrentFest

WHAT: Brentwood’s celebration of its 50th birthday continues with Brentfest on Saturday. The free event kicks off at 3 p with music by Conner Smith and continues until 10 p. Don’t worry about dinner as there will be food trucks, beer garden, and a kids zone.

2. Music at the Mansion

 

WHAT: Spring Hill Pickin in the Park presents Music at the Mansion. Enjoy a free concert at Rippavilla mansion with music starting at 6 p until 9 p. The lineup includes John Wilson, Calico (acoustic), Goldie and the Mayors, Madison Nolan, and Reverent Cavaliers. There will also food trucks on site. Please bring a blanket or chair for seating.

3. Fishin on the Farm at Harlinsdale

WHAT: Kids 12 and younger can fish in the catch and release pond at Harlinsdale Farm.  Poles and bait are supplied, but feel free to bring your own.  Parents must accompany each child.

4. Resurrection- A Journey Tribute Band at 3rd & Lindsley

WHAT: Resurrection – A Journey Tribute is recognized by fans in the USA and around the globe as the gold standard by which all Journey tributes are measured, faithfully resurrecting the Steve Perry era of the band’s history. “Resurrection” is a local tribute band and not the real Journey, though your eyes and ears may fool you. Journey is performing a local show in Nashville, grab one of the few remaining tickets here.

5. 25th Annual RC Cola and Moon Pie Festival

WHAT: This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Bell Buckle RC-MoonPie Festival and it’s sure to be bigger and better than ever. This Southern dynamic duo is celebrated with Kings and Queens, music, food, entertainment, games, a parade and lots of happiness! There are 5k and 10-mile runs through the countryside, arts and crafts vendor booths, games and, of course, lots of RC Cola and Moon Pies. Enjoy a day of fun for young and old alike to celebrate three southern traditions: RC Colas, Moon Pies and Historic Bell Buckle, Tennessee—close to home, but a world away.
