Williamson, Inc. to Host Oct. 27 Discussion on Ballot Issues

The last Williamson Inc. Public Affairs Roundtable of the year will focus on informing the public about the proposed amendments to the Tennessee Constitution, which will be decided in early voting going on now through Oct. 30th and on Election Day on Nov. 4th.

The county’s elected state representatives will join Chamber Public Affairs Chair Dave Crouch in the question-and-answer discussion on Monday, Oct. 27th, at the Williamson County Administrative Complex, 1320 West Main Street.

The public is invited to attend the free session and should arrive by 7:15 am to accommodate the live 7:30 am broadcast on WC-TV, the county’s educational and government channel.

The panel discussion will include Sen. Jack Johnson and Reps. Glen Casada, Jeremy Durham and Charles Sargent. Information about the amendments is available under the “Election Administrator” tab on the county government website, williamsoncounty-tn.gov.

The roundtable meetings are rebroadcast during the week and also are available on-demand on the county website. Older meeting videos are archived on the county’s YouTube channel, which can accessed from the website’s WC-TV page.
