Williamson County Singer Donates to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt

At just 10 years old, Ella Beckham has accomplished a couple of things that most kids her age haven’t done.

First, this Williamson County pre-teen  wrote a song earlier in the year called “Shine.” Ella tshared with Fox 17  that the song “ is about letting your light shine and not being afraid to do whatever you love to do.”

Country music artist and Williamson County resident, Bryan White, played a part in the song by producing, and playing on the single.

Beckham stated from the beginning when she released the single that she planned to give the proceeds from the song to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. And this week, she did just that. She presented the hospital with a check for over $3,700.

Beckham just recently signed with BMI and is one of the youngest singer-songwriters to sign with label. iTunes also named her as one of the featured new artists for her single “Shine.”

The powerhouse singer-songwriter is not stopping with “Shine” . She will release “You’re Gonna Win,” next month says Fox 17.   Be sure to download “Shine” on iTunes, and as you listen, you will help more kids at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
