We talked with them about what they do and how they are getting involved in this year’s Franklin Classic, taking place Monday, Sept 1 (Labor Day) in downtown Franklin.
WS: Where are you located?

We have 24 locations in Middle TN and a total of 60 locations throughout Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi and North Carolina.
WS: How long have you been there?
RP: We opened our first clinic in Nashville in 1996. We have been at our location on Mallory Lane in Franklin since March of 1999.
WS: Tell us about what you do.
RP: Results is an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy company. We believe that people should have direct access to physical therapy and should not have to live with pain.We take a unique approach to therapy by combining individualized treatment plans with a “hands-on” approach to relieve pain and stiffness to get you back to doing the things you love to do. We treat issues such as knee pain, hip pain, elbow and shoulder pain, low back pain, headaches, plantar fasciitis and neck pain. We work with the young and the elderly, the elite athlete, and the person that may just have pain in a joint that has just been lingering for months or years.In most cases you don’t have to have a referral from your physician for physical therapy at Results. You can call us directly and get in for an appointment within 24 hours. This saves time and money for the patient.
WS: Talk about your involvement with Franklin Classic.
RP: This is our first year to be involved with the Franklin Classic at this level. We have participated as runners, both individually and in teams, in past years. This year we developed a relationship with Mercy Community Healthcare which lead to our sponsorship of the Franklin Classic and we couldn’t be more excited. Results has a passion of working with the running community. We want to help build the running community in the region and ensure that runners have trusted and reliable resources for issues that can keep them from enjoying the sport that they love. We do this through programs such as injury prevention presentations, free injury screenings for the running community with groups like Fleet Feet, and training with running groups throughout the year. We have incredible therapists that love the sport and want to help give back to the community. Sponsoring the Franklin Classic this year was the perfect opportunity to increase our level of involvement and help support Mercy Community Healthcare.
